1. Goodwood revival 2023
What it is:
A 3-day festival in the UK for types of racing cars and bikes between the years of 1948-1966.
The rundown:
Lots of classic cars and racing
A Ferrari 250 GTO caught on fire, thankfully all is good
Themes included:
75 years of Lotus
Carroll Shelby
A single-marque race of Porsche 911s all from 1965
And over 100 000 people went!!
If you wanna see the madness - 11 wild moments (youtube video).
Here are some of my favourite pictures from it
And do you know what???
Next year I’m gonna go and film it all for you.
I want to give away free tickets for the event in 2024!
If you want it, I’ll make it happen!
Or we can keep things standard if preferred 🤝
2. Catching air in a lambo??
There’s this crazy UK fella, Mark McCann.
Well, he bought a 2023 Lambo Sterrato which is:
suitable for off-roading
v10, 600 horses
absolutely beautiful
And he used it as intended and jumped it (video)
How wild though, can’t believe I just typed that 😆
He’s also based in the UK sooooo maybe I go meet him???
3. ⚡️EV news
1/ The Mustang Mach E
power: 385kW
torque: 880N
sound: none
2/ This little thing did 0-60 in under 1 second!!
(watch here)
326 bhp
only weighs 309 pounds (140kg)
built by students 🤯
How???
When I was a student, I could only build bad habits and debt…
3/ Battery trouble for the ‘23 Porsche Taycan
New battery sealant isn’t sufficient
The recall covers 4777 Taycans in the US
After thorough review, we’ve determined that, in a small number of cases, there is a chance of moisture entering the car’s battery pack
We’re almost done.
Meme of the week!
