The R34 can now be LEGALLY
imported in the U.S.
Skyline lovers rejoice!
A poster car made famous by the Fast and Furious movies is about to turn 25.
And thatās precisely the age cars need to be to qualify for legal import.
Fun fact: Back in the day Japanese automakers were not allowed to advertise power figures if their cars made more than 276 hp. Hence, the GT-R officially produced 276 hp.
But when dyno tested, many made well over 300 hp!
How do you import one?
Make a lot of money - The average price of an R34 is $200k (not including import fees), but expect prices to go through the roof
Have an experienced import company such as Japanese Classics LLC or The Import Guys do all the work for you
Or try the DIY route through auctions, exporters, or private sellers. Be prepared to hire a customs broker to handle the legal paperwork though
If you cannot afford oneā¦here is a video thatāll make you wish you could š
Red Bull sets record for fastest-ever pitstopā¦in complete DARKNESS!
Is there anything Red Bull cannot do?
Apparently not! Because they just gave a whole new meaning to ālights out and away we goā.
Hereās how it went down:
Dubbed the āPitch Black Pit Stopā, the 22-person pit crew managed a time of 2.84 seconds
^ just one second away from their world record stop of 1.8 seconds in 2019It took a total of 10 attempts to reach that time, with the first attempt taking 8.84 seconds
The pit crew visors were blacked out as an added measure
Red Bull also did a zero-gravity pit stop! I wonder whatās next?
A pit stop upside down maybe?š¤Æ

a Supra for free???
Thanks to a partnership between Toyota and Fuji Speedway Hotel, guests will be treated to a special surprise.
Suite or villa residents will be given a Supra to go for a cruise on the local roads for about an hour
The scheme is valid between January 15, 2024 and June 30, 2024
2 choices of Supra will be given:
A standard 8-speed auto variant
A one-off tuned variant by Tomās Racing
No details about the mods are available, other than it has a 6-speed manual
We could reach out to them to arrange a 2-day giveaway but most of you guys are based in the US so it might be pricy to fly.. šļø
Snitches getā¦A gift from Ferrari
The saying goes āSnitches get stichesā.
But Ferrari is different - theyāre offering a reward to whoever reports a copyright infringement (like putting Purrari badges or drawing rude images on the emblem).
This applies to fake Ferrari merchandise as well, which is a far bigger problem than changing the exhaust.
Now you must be wonderingā¦what reward do I get?
Well, Ferrari just says a āgift itemā in the memo, which could be some merch or a gift card.
So Iāll give this a try and report this Ferrari that was at Art Basel last week.
If they give us a reward, weāll do a giveaway š

An SUV flipped while attempting to do a donut in reverse. The 5 people hanging out of the window suffered life-threatening injuries.

2/ Employee fired for charging car at workplace
Hereās the story:
A hostel receptionist used the 220-volt socket at work to charge his VW Golf
His boss fired him without notice after she found out
The matter ended up in court
The receptionist won the case and an $8,753 settlement for using $0.45 worth of electricity

1/ Charge your EV as you drive in Florida
It will be called State Road 516
Similar to the wireless phone charging tech in your car, it sends energy from winding coils in the roadās surface to a receiver pad under the vehicle
Only one mile of the planned 5-mile expressway will be electrified
More details below
2/ The first EV to travel from the North to the South Pole goes toā¦
A husband and wife duo traveled 18,641 miles over 10 months in a Nissan Aria.
The car was outfitted with rugged suspension and 39-inch BF Goodrich tires to handle the extreme environment, but the powertrain and battery remained stock.
But what about charging?
The couple used solar panels and a wind turbine when no electricity was available.
Talk about range anxiety when planning for a long trip. šØ
You can check out the entire journey on this Instagram page.
3/ EVs are less polluting, but only if you drive them for more than 56k miles
An independent study done by researchers in Germany showed:
Production of EVs causes more pollution than the production of ICE
Over time, the lack of CO2 emissions from EVs makes up for the āproduction pollutionā
To be greener than an ICE vehicle, the EV would have to be driven 55,923 miles
Interesting stuffā¦š¤
4/ Cybertruck parts are expensive
Pricing of a few Cybertruck spares was leaked, so we took the liberty of comparing the cost with that of the Ford F-150 Lightning.
This will shock you (pun intended) ā”
Quite the difference huh???
