The original engine was a 2.9 L inline-six and three-speed automatic transmission.

That was swapped those for a 6.2 L LS3 V8 and T56 six-speed manual transmission

Fun fact: prior to the engine swap the car was sold to the wrestler John Cena for $66 000 on bring a trailer here
