Yo, this is by far the craziest American car event I’ve watched.
I’ve never seen that many v8’s in one place 😍
The event has so many categories:
drag race
autocross
tug of war
car crush
4×4 experience
I’m probably missing stuff. It’s honestly insane!
And there are so many great pictures from it.
I hope we get to see some Plymouth Superbirds in the UK
Just fascinating. I hope I get to see something like that one day.

The breakdown:
Ferrari has filed a patent application for a four-point seat belt designed for use in road cars.
The design aims to keep drivers steady during high-g cornering and addresses the issue of head and neck movement during a crash.
What’s their solution?
It includes a "damping device" to limit chest movement, reducing the potential for head and neck injuries.
Imagine jumping in your 1.2 Fiat Panda and putting on a race harness hahahah. I would 💯

1/ UK’s ban on diesel and petrol cars is delayed
What?
UK Prime Minister confirmed a delay in the ban on the sale of new petrol & diesel cars from 2030 to 2035.
And so what?
Industry responses vary, with some concerned about slowing EV adoption and others emphasizing the need for infrastructure development.
The UK Government unveiled subsidies worth £500 million for Jaguar Land Rover's £4 billion Gigafactory project in Somerset.
Additionally, the government has pledged £211 million for advanced battery research through the Faraday battery challenge.
2/ Seems like used EVs can be cheaper than an ICE car (normal car)
The prices of used EVs have fallen so much that it doesn’t make sense to buy them brand new.
In some examples, the value of the used EVs drops by almost a quarter of their value within a year.
Imagine buying a car for $40k and just a year later it’s $30k 💀
3/ The new m3 is set to be live by 2027
it will be saloon (4 door) and potentially estate
fully electric
supposedly would have 1341bhp
“Maybe it will go electric – but if it does, it will always be an M3.
Whatever the powertrain, you should always be able to drive our cars and know they are M cars.
We have stood the test of time for 50 years and will continue to do so.”
