The 8 cars were commissioned (as a group) by a single person in 2010.

They would be auctioned individually rather than as a bundle.

I hope the new buyers form some sort of bond, this is such a unique story.
I will try to dig more into it to give you some more insights.

Porsche 911 GT 3 R rennsport

The 911 GT3 R rennsport has a host of unique parts.

The wing is inspired by the Brumos Porsche 935/77

The wide body is made entirely from carbo fiber and the wheelbase is stretched.

The specs:

• 4.2L flat six engine

• 620 horsepower

• 6 speed sequential gearbox

Fun fact about him: he did not trust Wall Street so he invested in these cars as a means to preserve his wealth.

The snake is an albino boa and 8 foot long (2.4metres).

2/ Truck vs Corvette

Scary crash.. The truck literally goes over them at slow speed. Apparently, the driver was visually impaired.

This one kinda made me laugh 😆 Grown men fighting over a bump that happened during the race.

1/ Jeep’s 1st fully electric SUV seems to be a success 🚀 

What happened:

• The new all-electric SUV by Jeep - the Avenger - is seeing hot demand in Europe

• Over 40 000 orders have been placed

• Volumes have picked up by 60% compared to the industry average of 12.8%

• In Europe, Jeep has 10.6% market share in the SUV market (9.6% last year), and 49.9% market share in Italy 🇮🇹 

Why it’s important

• This shows an increase demand for EVs

• It gives good momentum for Jeep’s electric SUV over in the US which will even have removable doors 👇️ 

2/ Marriott (hotels) to add Electric Chargers

What happened:

• Marriott and EV Connect will work together to scale EV charging stations

Why it’s important

• Marriott hotels is a popular name. I see them all the time in the UK and there are 5769 hotels in the US

• With the growth of EV, it’s only a matter of time til hotels (and similar venues) start heavily investing in having the infrastructure to accommodate EVs

3/ Ford stops work on a $3.5bn battery plant 😐️

We don’t have many German readers but the country is running a programme which gives up to 10, 200euro.

What do you need to do?
Equip primary residences with solar powered EV charging capabilities (e.g. solar panels, charging stations etc.)

The fund is capped at 500 million euro.

That is: 500 000 000 🤯
